It’s War!

By C. Eldon McNabb

My fellow citizens of the kingdom of heaven, I come to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to sound an alarm in hope of helping to save you from the great evil which is coming upon Christianity. Only a short time remains until we must be ready for the return of our Lord, but we have been busy fulfilling the prophecy which Jesus gave concerning the kingdom of heaven at the time of the end; we have all gone to sleep (Matt. 25:1-13). In due time, all of Christianity, wise and unwise, shall awake, and trim their lamps. But the sad truth is that many Christians, foolish, though spiritually “virgins,” will not go in to the wedding, because they will not have searched the scriptures for the knowledge they will need to have the strength and faith to go in.

Time for Alarm

It has been forty years since the U. S. Supreme Court denied Christians the right of “the free exercise of their religion,” in direct contradiction of the very Constitution they are sworn to uphold, by declaring it illegal to pray, or read the Bible, in a public school. In recent months, the government of the United States has taken three occasions to demand the removal of a Biblical statement from judicial buildings and other public places. In the most recent incident, U.S. District Judge Myron Thompson and a three-judge panel of the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals forced the removal of the Ten Commandments from the premises of the Supreme Court of the State of Alabama.

In short, the government of the United States has declared war on Christianity, though they would deny it. In the aftermath of the attack on the Twin Towers, on September 11, 2001, the U.S. began to fulfill Daniel ch. 4. Because of Nebuchadnezzar’s pride, the Lord caused the heart of a beast to be given to him, and God said, “Let his portion be with the beasts of the field, until seven times pass over him.” Accordingly, during the seven years immediately following that fateful date, suppression of Christianity, and open persecution of Christians, will intensify in this once “peaceful” nation.

In the two years since 9-11-‘01, President Bush, however well-meaning he may be, has been boldly replacing our constitutional way of government with a bureaucratic dictatorship. He has produced a new and powerful bureaucracy which the enemies of God will ultimately use to suppress all Christian activities in the United States of America. That bureaucracy, The Department of Homeland Security, is now in the final stages of being formed. That Department is the fulfillment of “The Little Horn” in the book of Daniel. In the process, the U.S. has moved to join the ranks of the other beast nations of the world.

This war against Christianity will escalate, until they have accomplished the fulfillment of the prophecy in Joel 3:15. “The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.” That is to say, they shall completely silence the message of redemption by Jesus Christ. The prudent will see the trouble coming and hide themselves, and the foolish will continue on, and incur the wrath of God and man (Prov. 22:3).

The Lord has told me that it is time for God’s mighty warriors to draw near to God, and begin to “Prepare war” according to His word in Joel 3:9-11. We must transform our tools of planting the seed of the Word of God, and harvesting the souls of men, into weapons of war. We must prepare ourselves to stand up strong for God in the face of the coming attack of lies, and great deception which the enemy will soon foist upon the whole of Christianity. Our adversary is now raising up a great one who “shall speak great words against the most High” with all the power of the government behind him.

Unlike the wicked, “The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.” That is why we are told in Nahum 2, that when we see him “that dasheth in pieces come up before our face: we should keep the munition, watch the way, make our loins strong, and fortify our power mightily.” He is talking about having the Word of God as ammunition and fortification. He is talking about watching the way of holiness, having our loins gird about with truth, and making sure that we are full of the Holy Ghost.

The incident of the removal of the Ten Commandment monument from the rotunda of the state judicial building in Montgomery, Alabama was finalized on August 27, 2003; the very day that the Planet Mars was the closest to Earth that it has been for more than 5,000 years, or shall be again for centuries. We might try to pass off the confluence of these events as mere coincidence, for indeed the approach of Mars to Earth was a natural phenomenon which God set in motion some six thousand years ago. The important fact is, it was God who caused the “coincidence.”

The incident of the near approach of Mars to Earth was far more than a natural “sight to behold;” it was indeed a sign from God concerning current events. It was a sign that our adversary, the devil, has begun to launch his great venomous attack against “the Lamb and they that are with Him.” The man Christ Jesus, has responded to their declaration of war, and has risen to the challenge. As John said, The ten horns “shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful” (Rev. 17:14). The United States is one of those Ten Horns: the G-Ten of the United Nations.

God sent us a sign of warning on September 11, 2001, by allowing the destruction of the Twin Towers (Zeph. 1:4-16). He said it was, “A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.” That is, against the great organizations of Christianity. That was our first alert. Now the Lord has commanded me, by the mouth of the prophet Joel, to call us to action; to begin to make preparations for the coming persecutions and for the appearing of our Lord. We must arouse ourselves and begin to strengthen ourselves spiritually with fasting and prayer, and to begin to avidly search the Holy Scriptures. We must gather ourselves together in the unity of the faith, so that God can justifiably deliver us from the trouble which is coming upon Gentile Christianity (Rom. 2:5-12).

It is not that we should act in fear, but knowing the terror of the Lord, we must rise to the occasion, and do what is necessary, prophetically, to save ourselves and them that hear us. God allowed himself to appear to be weak by allowing the martyrdom of His precious Saints over the last two thousand years, and will yet allow “a few” to be martyred. However, God is now going to glorify His holy name by accomplishing a great deliverance of His people out of the hand of “That Wicked,” in 2 Thess. 2:1-14.

The Day of The Lord

The time of harvest is upon us, as Jesus said in Matt. 13, and persecution with it. The Lord said in Rev. 12:14-17, “To the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly away into the wilderness, from the face of the serpent. And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman.” That flood is “The tribulation of those days” (Matt. 24:29), which is so frequently called “The day of the Lord.” It is mentioned fifteen times in the O. T., regarding the coming judgment of God against Christianity: four times in the book of the prophet Joel alone. But we are assured, in Amos 3:7, that God’s prophets will be shown what is coming, so they can direct us as to what we must do, just before that “great and dreadful day” comes, if we are to be “alive and remain” unto the coming of the Lord.

The first time Joel mentioned the day of the Lord (ch 1:14,15), he said, “Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the Lord your God, and cry unto the Lord, Alas for the day! For the day of the Lord is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.”

Consider Amos 5:18-20 with Joel 2:1,2. “Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord! To what end is it for you? The day of the Lord is darkness, and not light. As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him. Shall not the day of the Lord be darkness, and not light? Even very dark, and no brightness in it?” “Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand; A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness.” That is what the day of the Lord shall be for Christians.

Do you believe that God is going to punish the wicked in His wrath? He will indeed, but He will judge us first (1Pet. 4:17), and He is very angry with Christianity for its idolatrous covetousness, and its other sins and iniquities. “Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: Humble yourselves before God. - Judge yourselves that ye be not judged.” We must obey His voice and come together in the unity of the Spirit; so we can attain unto the unity of the Faith.

The Gathering

I know that many of you long for, pray for, and hope for the day when God’s Elect will begin to “press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” I know there are true shepherds among you who are concerned, because they have not yet seen their leadership begin to bring God’s people closer to the level of spirituality which God requires of them. You need to soberly consider the word of the Lord, and find out what we must do to make it happen. God told us to wake up the mighty men. Could it be that you are one of them? We must shake ourselves and wake up, and redeem the time, for the days are evil.

God told us in Zephaniah, “Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired; Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the Lord come upon you, before the day of the Lord’s anger come upon you. Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord’s wrath.”

Let us walk in the light, as He is in the light, and have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son will cleanse us from all sin. AMEN!
