Foreign Edition News

The summer editions of The Bible Guys in foreign languages have been completed. This season, we printed the inaugural issue of the Russian edition. We also produced the third issue in Albanian.

Bible Guys in Russian

Once again, we thank Irina Lapik and Olga Chepurina for their work in the translation and editing of the Russian edition. And to others that assisted in the proof-reading. Having had close contact with the Russian immigrants over the last 11 years, it was my desire from the beginning to make some of these sermons available in Russian.

As to the Albanian edition, due Picture of Albanian issue of the Bible Guysto the influx of Kosovar refugees, we have restructured its content. Because they are mostly Moslems, starting with this issue, we have geared it more to introducing the reader to the Jesus Christ of the Bible, our Saviour, Lord and friend. In the upcoming issues, we will share with them the plan of salvation and the love of God, in that he sent his son to die for us.

We are very happy to have the opportunity to share the truth of the Scriptures with those for whom English is not their native language. The Bible, in Esther 1:21-22, shows us that it is important for people to be able to have access to things in their most familiar language. In fact, God has gone to great lengths to have the Bible, itself, available in most of the world’s languages because of that truth.

We have, therefore, done our best to print this newsletter in what foreign languages we could. In time, other translations will be added, such as Spanish, as we are able.

Continue to pray that all our efforts will be fruitful, and that souls will be saved, and Christ will be glorified.
